I was not given eyes
only to see.
I was given skin
that listens.
A heart that notices
the tremor beneath a steady voice,
the storm behind a quiet room,
the weight of words
before they are ever spoken.
I have walked into places
where everyone said,
*Nothing is wrong,*
while something inside me whispered,
**Look deeper.**
That is the strange language
of Clairsentience.
It does not always arrive
like thunder.
Sometimes
it is a tightening in the chest,
a warmth across the shoulders,
a sudden peace with no explanation,
or the inexplicable certainty
that something has changed.
I spent years wondering
why I felt so much.
Why another person's sadness
could enter the room
before they did.
Why some people felt like sunlight
and others like doors
I should never open.
Why my body sometimes understood
what my mind
had not yet learned.
Perhaps the lesson
was never to stop feeling.
Perhaps the lesson
was to learn
**which feelings are mine.**
For the Eleven walks
between lightning and earth—
the flash of intuition
and the difficult work
of giving it form.
Eleven receives.
Two listens.
And somewhere between them
stands the quiet soul
learning that sensitivity
does not have to mean surrender.
I can feel you
without becoming you.
I can understand your sorrow
without carrying it home.
I can sense the storm
without volunteering
to become its sky.
And then there is the Goat—
patient creature
of difficult ground,
finding footholds
where others see only cliffs.
Not rushing.
Not demanding the mountain
become easier.
Simply learning
where to place the next foot.
And Earth says:
**Ground it.**
Take everything you sense
and give it roots.
Make intuition practical.
Make compassion discerning.
Make imagination tangible.
Build something
from what you have learned.
Because a gift without grounding
can become a burden.
A feeling without boundaries
can become a prison.
And intuition without wisdom
can mistake every shadow
for prophecy.
So my path is not
to believe everything I feel.
My path is to listen.
To question.
To wait.
To learn the difference
between intuition and fear,
between empathy and projection,
between another person's energy
and the echo
of my own history.
That is where the gift deepens.
Not when I feel **more**—
but when I understand
what the feeling is asking of me.
Eleven gives me the spark.
Two teaches me relationship.
The Goat teaches me endurance.
Earth teaches me form.
And Clairsentience?
Clairsentience teaches me
that there are ways of knowing
that begin quietly—
before language,
before explanation,
before proof.
But wisdom teaches me
something greater still:
Not every feeling
is an instruction.
Some are information.
Some are mirrors.
Some are warnings.
Some are wounds.
Some are simply passing weather.
And some—
after patience,
discernment,
and time—
become truth
I finally have words for.
So I no longer ask
why I was made
to feel the world so deeply.
I ask instead:
**What will I create
from everything
I have learned to feel?**
Because perhaps
the deepest purpose
of the sensitive soul
is not merely
to sense what others cannot—
but to take
what cannot yet be seen,
hold it gently,
bring it down to Earth,
and give it
a shape
the rest of the world
can finally understand.
