# What Happened Is Verifiable

2 min read

This distinction is important to my story. — **August 22nd, 1979:** an annular solar eclipse occurred.

This distinction is important to my story.
**August 22nd, 1979:** an annular solar eclipse occurred.
**October 14th, 2023:** an annular solar eclipse occurred.
**September 17th, 2024:** a Harvest Supermoon underwent a partial lunar eclipse during the night.
Those are astronomical events.
They can be researched independently.
My birth occurred on the first date.
Forty-four calendar years later came the second ring of fire.
And my awakening occurred on the third date.
Those are the events of my life that intersect with that astronomical timeline.
The spiritual significance I find within those intersections is something different.
**That belongs to my experience.**
Maybe someone listening to this will call all of it coincidence.
That's okay.
I'm not asking anyone to believe what I believe.
I'm asking you to look at what happened.
Look up the dates.
Look at the Moon.
Look at the eclipses.
And then decide what they mean to you.
Because when I looked backward across my own life, I saw something I hadn't understood before.
My story began on a day when the Moon crossed the Sun...
and darkness left behind a **ring of fire**.
Forty-four calendar years later, that image appeared again.
And when the moment came that changed the way I understood myself, the Moon was there once more.
This time entering the Earth's shadow...
before returning to the light.
I know astronomy can explain every movement.
I respect that explanation.
But astronomy tells me **what happened in the sky**.
It cannot tell me what those moments meant in my life.
That part of the story is mine.
And when I put those moments together, the symbolism I see is remarkably simple:
**The shadow was never the end of the story.**
**The light was still there.**
