September 17th wasn't simply another date that I later tried to attach to the sky. — It was the day I experienced what I describe as my **spiritual awakening**.
September 17th wasn't simply another date that I later tried to attach to the sky.
It was the day I experienced what I describe as my **spiritual awakening**.
And once again, the Moon was there.
On the night of September 17th, 2024, a **partial lunar eclipse** occurred.
And this wasn't an ordinary full Moon, either.
It was the **Harvest Moon**.
It was also a **supermoon**, meaning the full Moon occurred while the Moon was relatively close to Earth in its orbit, making it appear somewhat larger and brighter than an average full Moon.
And during that same night, part of that Moon entered Earth's shadow.
The geometry of the heavens had changed.
At my birth in 1979, the **Moon passed between Earth and the Sun**.
During the ring of fire in 2023, the **Moon again passed between Earth and the Sun**.
But on September 17th, 2024, the alignment was reversed.
**Earth passed between the Sun and the Moon.**
Earth's shadow fell upon the Moon.
The Moon entered the shadow...
and then emerged from it.
And this was happening on the very date that I experienced the event I would later call my awakening.
That is a fact about my life occurring alongside a documented fact about the sky.
What connects the two spiritually is my interpretation.
And that's where this story goes deeper.
